Hiring a temporary/contract employee may be a time-consuming process as it requires due research before hiring. But on the other side, it is cheaper compared to hiring a full-time employee. Moreover, they provide excellent service. When a company employs temporary/contract workers, they don't have to pay taxes, social security, and benefits like bonuses. Contract base employees have all necessary certificates and licenses, so nothing remains to be done from the company edge. If the business needs to hire temporary/contract employees for a year, still the expense is lesser as compared to regular employees. Hence, if a business establishes on a low budget or suffers from a slow down market, in this condition, companies can hire temporary/contract workers to reduce their expenses. If your business revolves around seasonal jobs, during a particular season, your business work becomes heavier. Here the best way to go with temporary/contract workers. In full-time employees, businesses have to pay them a fixed salary after a particular period, whether the work is there or not. But in temporary/contract employees, they get flexibility. Companies have to only pay for a specific period or task. If you are the type of business that requires more flexibility concerning the work and wages, then temp/contract employees are suitable for your business. Sometimes organizations hire temporary/contract workers during uncertain economic times. And when things become stable they may shift the proven performer’s contract employees to full-time employees. It is another way to reduce hiring and firing a new full-time employee every time. Temporary/Contract employees can become the best resource for the business if the business hires them in the proper circumstance and for valid reasons. At least don’t eliminate it from the option list when you are thinking of expanding your business.
