The CoronaVirus Pandemic impacted people worldwide, in all ways, mentally, physically, economically, and socially. For almost two years, it has left people fearful for their lives, livelihood, and health. One such area that the Corona Virus has affected directly in the job market. In the starting months of the Covid-era, when the governments around the world imposed mandatory lockdowns, many people lost their jobs. Restaurants, bars, and clubs no longer had any customers to serve, customer service was no longer needed, shops closed down, and many businesses went into loss and even shut down. Over the following year or so, the situation did not seem to improve and only worsened. Many people went into debt, and the economy nearly crashed. Then, people started getting used to the new way of life and started adjusting to the economy. Many businesses and jobs started being handled remotely or via the internet. The way of working and life changed. And it seems the change may be irreversible to a certain extent. In the first year of the Global Pandemic, people were hoping for things to go back to how they were. Now, they realize that there is a better way of doing things. This means that the job industry has changed drastically. Many jobs that were considered very important before are no longer needed. On the other hand, many new job opportunities have arisen that were not in the market before the Covid-era. A look through job listing websites like Glassdoor and CareerBuilder reveals this to be more than just speculation. According to an estimate, around 25% of people will have to change their occupation after the Pandemic ends. With the CoronaVirus Pandemic, the healthcare department has experienced a severe expansion. Every country around the world has a shortage of healthcare workers in the initial months of the Covid-era. Hospitals started hiring nurses, doctors, and technical workers in bulk. Healthcare workers were severely overworked initially, but things started getting better as the department grew in size and population. The Pandemic has made people realize the importance of these people's work and how unprepared the world was for such a pandemic when it came to healthcare jobs. That is why it is unlikely that the popularity and need for healthcare workers will decrease even in the Post-covid era. The Healthcare field offers many jobs like nurses, doctors, health services managers, dentists, veterinarians, anesthesiologists, caregivers, and much more. According to an estimate, the lowest paying job in the healthcare field can pay up to $150,000 a year, while the highest paying job can go up to $300,000 a year. This means that the field is very lucrative if a little stressful. Education is one field where people hold very conservative views and tend to avoid changing it too much. Before the CoronaVirus, the Education System has remained pretty much the same for a decade, with no hope for change. From curriculum to the way classes were held, everything was very traditional. The Pandemic and the consecutive lockdown allowed people a glimpse into what could be the future of education. During the Covid-era, the education system had to transform itself drastically to keep up. Technology was amalgamated into the education system, with classes being conducted through the internet and computers. Many online courses started being offered to students, and it is very apparent that the change is likely to last. Keeping that in mind, there has appeared room for teachers who are well versed in technology. This means that not only do they have to be experts in their field, but they have to also be very good at the use of education technology. The Pandemic has made abundantly clear to everyone that people are very bad at dealing with their finances. From personal accounts and bills to the financial aspects of their businesses and jobs, there were many things they left unchecked that harmed them once the Pandemic hit, and they faced losses or lost their jobs. This has created awareness of the need for financial services providers to help you handle your accounts, debts, and money. The field has become very popular, and many people are looking to hire financial advisors. The pay scale of financial advisors is also very lucrative, and the prospect is excellent. When the Pandemic hit, customer care providers and shop operators were the first to lose their jobs. People avoided going out of their houses in fear that they may also contract the Virus. Anything they needed, they had to either wait for their monthly grocery trip to buy or buy online. The trend of online shopping only increased with time, and more and more businesses opened their outlets online. This allowed them access to a broader customer base and allowed them to get what they wanted from a much wider variety from the comfort of their homes. It has become quite clear that even if the Pandemic were to go away, the trend of online shopping and online businesses will not. There is much room for growth and progress, and people need to invest less to earn more. This is also a much smaller chance of crippling losses as compared to a traditional business. According to an estimate, the e-commerce market is set to reach a booming $200 billion in a short time of eight years. The market value will be six times what it was just three years ago in 2018. While the Pandemic negatively impacted many industries and businesses, it also allowed people to expand their horizons and approach the market in new and innovative ways. Many businesses and parts of industries were transferred to a much faster and safer online route. A whole new field of work has been created with numerous job opportunities related to information handling and storage on computers. This field of work is unlikely to disappear as business owners have realized just how much more efficiently their work can be done. Post-covid, Information Technology will be one of the most rapidly expanding industries and will, undoubtedly, present many lucrative working opportunities. To conclude, the job market has changed very much in the last two years of the Pandemic, and it will likely continue to mould itself towards a more technological route. It is necessary to align yourself with this new market to make a comfortable career for yourself.Let's take a look at Job sectors in high demand after Covid-19
